Winter Rest in the Enchanted Forest

Dear visitors, The Enchanted Forest is entering its well-deserved winter rest! Starting October 31st, we will be closing our gates so that nature can rest and prepare for the coming year. During this time, the forest will be covered in a protective blanket of snow, but you are still welcome to visit and enjoy the peaceful winter atmosphere. Please note, however, that no restroom facilities will be available during the winter months, and the water supply will be turned off. Please plan your visit accordingly. We thank you for a magical 2024 season and look forward to welcoming you back in spring 2025, when the Enchanted Forest will once again be in full bloom. Enjoy the winter season, and we’ll see you in the next adventure! Warm regards, Your Enchanted Forest Team

When is the enchanted forest open

The Ernen Magic Forest is open and accessible around the clock.

What is the easiest way to move through the enchanted forest?

Follow the telescopes set up. These will lead you and your children to the next play station or the next telescope. Please ignore the metal signposts as they are part of a bike trail.

The red squirrels mark the boundaries of the enchanted forest perimeter. Outside these boundaries there are areas that are not suitable for small children (danger of falling in some places).

Use the wide path that leads directly to the barbecue area and the surrounding play stations.

Are there enough parking spaces?

Parking space is limited. Cars can be parked next to the bus stop.

Can I contribute to the maintenance of the enchanted forest?

Yes, the foundation is dependent on your donations for improvements and ongoing maintenance. There is a cash desk at the entrance with free situation maps. There you will also find a QR code that you can use to make a quick and easy donation. Thank you very much in advance for your support.

What should I bear in mind with regard to waste and barbecue use?

Please make sure you take your garbage home with you (unfortunately, we are unable to collect garbage every day). Use the barbecue wood sparingly, do not light a fire outside the three barbecue areas and extinguish the embers in the barbecue areas before you go home.

How is accident insurance regulated?
